Finau Glen Tuala

Finau Glen Tuala has taught Science and Biology in secondary schools in New Zealand and the United Kingdom over the past 20 years and is also passionate about community development. He has served at a governance level on several boards of schools and NGO’s. He has diverse business interests across different sectors and a wealth of experience and expertise in building organisational capacity and capability with a focus on serving communities. He holds the orator title Finau from Safa’atoa, Lefaga and Pule from Fasito’o-tai and also connects to Apia, Matautu, Lefaga, as well as Sagone and Salelologa, Savaii in Western Samoa.
Soteria Tuala

Soteria Tuala also has an extensive background in education and taught in the Primary School sector both in New Zealand and the United Kingdon for 20 years before moving into Early Childhood Education (ECE). She has served in governance and management roles and enjoys developing professional leadership and supporting culturally responsive pedagogy in educational settings. Soteria is a NZ-born Samoan who connects to Lufilufi, Saanapu, and Fasitoo-tai in Western Samoa.
Andrew Alosina Fa’avale
LLB - Trustee
Andrew has published research in the fields of education, criminology and health. His research interests are motivated by fostering Pasifika success in the various domains in which he is involved. He has a degree in law and has been admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, and a legal practitioner by the Supreme Court of Queensland. He is currently completing a masters degree in education by research.
Dr Nicola Fa’avale
PhD Public Health - Trustee
Dr. Nicola Fa’avale (née Tava’e) is of Samoan, Niuean and Tongan heritage. She has a Bachelors of Health Science, a Postgraduate degree in Public Health, Masters in Public Health, and a PhD in Public Health. Nicola’s passion for promoting Pasifika health drives her work. She is a researcher at the University of Queensland focusing on Pasifika health in South-East Queensland and is Lead Researcher for the MANA Research Centre
Boaz Moala

Boaz Moala has 15 years of experience in the service industry and has also pursued his vision of servant leadership through qualifications in Theology, Health Promotion and Applied Social Work. He is passionate about community and has a proven track record in facilitating, developing and empowering various groups via positive engagement. He is a strong advocate of finding community based solutions for community based issues. Boaz is a proud husband to his wife Angela, and they have two beautiful children. He was born and raised in Sāina, Faleata, Western Samoa before moving to New Zealand with his family.
